How is this a conspiracy? Back in SB people already guessed that CBU3 was working on a single player FF game because Yoshi P said he would like to make one.

Yoshi P has said he would like to work on a new generation MMO and that FF14 is the last MMO in the "second generation"... Yeah the hints are pretty clear.

Don't see what he has done to earn so much trust.....

The goalposts have officially been moved. Current raid gear is needed for things like Criterion savage and ultimates, making it something you need to get if you want to do those.

I've savage raided the 1st pandemonium raid tier and gave up after the 3rd week because of how realizing how stupid the loot system is.

And again you fail to tell me how savage is holding you hostage when the min.ilv for every raid is achievable without having a single savage gear piece? And bringing this to normal raids, the ilv discrepancy is even more loose since the bar is lowered. That's the majority of the game's endgame content. Which again Criterion failed in attracting hard-core players with its rewards and Ultimates come every once in a blue moon.

You literally need BiS gear in every single raid tier. 6.1 Ultimate required 6.05 BiS gear. 6.25 Criterion Savage and 6.3 Ultimate required 6.21 BiS gear. 6.45 Criterion Savage requires 6.41 BiS gear.

Once in a blue moon? That's literally every single raid tier this expansion.

Please, you got filtered and can't even clear a single raid tier, you have no business talking about raids. Go back to complaining about relics.

All we need to know about the immedeate future is that even prior to Endwalker's release, they already had plans for at least 3 more expansions after, up to as far as 9.0. And with Endwalker being an immedeate success by pretty much every metric except forum's contentness (which it really never is, so that point's moot), I wouldn't doubt that development pipeline has been pre-extended to as far as 10.0 by now.

The fact that on financial levels, plans were being made to go as far as 9.0 is true, and has recently been re-confirmed with "at least two more expansions after Dawntrail". Endwalker being a total success on par with Shadowbringers by every metric that actually matters to the developer and IP owners is also a fact, however much those metrics dont represent at all the issues people around here have with the game's direction. 10.0 part is just personal assumption, but honestly, far from coping one, only reasonable to make that after a second success on par with Shadowbringers would extend the plan pipeline by one more expansion if they already planned for three before Endwalker released.

Yeah they should also come clean about their ESG score. I'd feel just absolutely awful if the game we are playing was made by developers who drank coffee that was manufactured in a facility that drew power from imported coal and was not offset through the purchase of Carbon Credits in an approved Emissions Trading Scheme. Just awful I tell you!
