Savage gear is literally there to fill the endless sense of dopamine on the players who want to see big numbers and efficiency for doing the optional harder content that is optional.

Players should be rewarded for spending the time and effort, and working as a team, to clear the most difficult content. So, it has a valid function of existing and to those players it isn't irrelevant.

Surprised in XIV that it isn't more powerful than other games. Raiders v. Casuals in other games I've played had a massive chasm in gear. (Of course the raid content vs. casual content also had a massive chasm in difficulty.)

Not a single soul believes that CBU3 is back to solely working on FF14. They're working on FF16 for PC and FF16 DLCs at the MINIMUM.

What else are you working on, CBU3? What are you not telling us? Are you hiding the fact that you're working on FF17, the next MMO, so that people will continue to have copium for FF14? Because that's what happened to 11.

You still haven't proven how I'm wrong. Entry for anabesios savage is ilv.630 which is achievable by having a job filled with crafted gear and or comedy tomestone gear (which I know it's currency is capped weekly) but the fact that anyone can enter this patches raid tier without having to do the previous raid tier proves my point how raid gear isn't relevant long enough in the patch cycle.

Especially as you have been contesting how this game lacks meaningful endgame content and doesn't retain the player enough for their sub right?

Or are you taking back that argument?

Technically the only thing that keeps a players sub hostage is if you own a house. But raids? Naw man, that's not the case

and no, weekly gated content =/= meaningful endgame content, especially since the main gate isn't savage but the tomes, you're forced to do boring content like expert or hunts again and again for tomes to do ultimate or criterion savage.

I've savage raided the 1st pandemonium raid tier and gave up after the 3rd week because of how realizing how stupid the loot system is.

And again you fail to tell me how savage is holding you hostage when the min.ilv for every raid is achievable without having a single savage gear piece? And bringing this to normal raids, the ilv discrepancy is even more loose since the bar is lowered. That's the majority of the game's endgame content. Which again Criterion failed in attracting hard-core players with its rewards and Ultimates come every once in a blue moon.

I think the only way koros would disappear is if people didn't post in his threads. People know he insults people and only doing these threads to bait people to respond and insult others but people keep going to his threads and reacting which is what he wants. People wish that he would disappear but the only way he will is to stop feeding the known troll/bait that he post for reacts. Thats why all the alt accounts post things about hot topics that they know will rile people up.

but even then their methods are unhealthy...there are trolls who do it here and there...but Koros and the alt army everyday all times of the day....yeah you could say it takes minutes out of the day but its the consistency...its like this is the only thing they do in their time.
