With how the thread was titled is seemed you wanted people to pile up on aether to crash it and get rid of datacenter visit unless i misunderstood the thread.I think conceptually it would look like PF being a database all datacenters in a region can access with the information of the players and when the PF queues into an instance all characters get ported to the same instance/server so they can raid together. How that would look like on their proprietary IP is anyones guess. But yes, by exacerbating the issue it will inevitably become high priority.
Its not like people have anything to gain by trying to fight this and staying in their own DCs. All that will net them is vastly longer wait times or never filling in worst cases.
In fact, it's mostly already happened. There are a couple of holdouts here and there, but I'd say close to 90% of the population is already raiding in Aether.
Quite frankly, besides the minor annoyance of DC travel this could just be the new reality, which is fine, but not ideal. If this is truly what the playerbase wants, for this not to be fixed, it's not a deal breaker. But, it could be better for sure.
