Don't wanna hear about Laptops. I have a stack of 6 gaming laptops, including 2 Alienware, all in various states of disfunction. This is a replacement build for when my current laptop, starts billowing oily black smoke. This is my current configuration guess,

I will look into the 4070 gpu. I just want to be able to run FFXIV at max.

Not sure if 12600K is worth it. Either 12400F for cost-effective or going up to Ryzen 5800X3D (and 7800X3D, latest Intel i7 for bleeding edge performance).

For GPU you can look for sales. RX 6950 XT can be really low and 7900 XT is also dropping to 6950 XT previous prices. That's better than RTX 4070 (although you should check thermals, reviews of given model as those are big GPUs that will generate a lot of heat). RTX 3000 can also see sales.
