Did anyone at Fan Fest have a chance to relay questions about the template to anyone who could get the ball rolling towards an official answer?

I submitted a bug report a little while ago hoping to get someone's attention, but as of now it's still hovering in the report submission subforum.

I've generally liked most of the hair designs from the competition that have been implemented in the past, but I just want whomever is implementing the hair for Male Viera to stop giving us a five head for whatever is chosen in this contest, please I'm begging.

I'm fine with Type A/Type B descriptors as it's not really that important and the only people who complain are one very specific subset of people, but I do love it when folks disguise their bigotry thinking they're clever by prefacing with red flags!

Really they should make you use both templates since the hair is gonna be unisex anyway.

A few are also flubbed a bit due to Miqo'te ears since we don't have ears in the normal human location on our heads.

Actually if you look at them. They got that part right. The flubbed areas are actually around where the Miqo ears are that the styling doesn't really flow properly around them.

The rules are really all over the place. They say that you can make a design for whatever race and/or gender you want and you have to submit 3 views but the templates are only two and only hyurs. In the 2015 contest they specifically said that you didn't have to use the template, the styles could only be so long and you didn't even have to show the back. Halfway down the rules they mention the template, if you're going to take a picture of the artwork but no where else is it mentioned and the info is conflicting, until you get to the "key rules" and it says "on the template provided" but you "may use image editing software to alter, enhance or otherwise style the entries". What does it mean? My entry is void because its not on the template? But I thought I could do any race and I showed all three sides? Anyone have thoughts or answers?

I think all we can do is to draw all three sides – possibly all four sides if not symmetrical – and also draw a three-quarter view of it on the templates.

Also ideally do a sketch of how it should interact with the ears of the non-human-eared races (Miqo'te, Viera, Hrothgar). I'm tired of hairstyles that go straight under/through ears like they're not there.
