I accused you of hiding information because I strongly suspect that you're engaging in illicit activity to own all those houses. Also you could argue that buying out entire wards would fall under Nuissance behaviour of the terms of service, especially if you're deliberately depriving people of housing. I'll wait long than you, because I know you're just going to keep whatever "Facts" you have to yourself.

Again, you miss my point entirely, as is to be expected with Storm Peaks. Why should someone be forced to buy in a zone they don't want so you can have all your hoarded houses wherever you please? Why should you be able to deprive people of having a house next to their friends so you can own 5+ houses? Why do you need 5+ houses? Why do you need the gil from Submarine farms to remain high? Why would a submarine farmer turn to RMT if this gil was reduced? I'll wait for ONE answer to any of these.

Ouch, that sucks. I expect that they used their profits from owning other houses to fund that. I do wonder how spread-out multi-owners can be if they had the chance to bid on any and all plots if they suddenly became available.

Could be one of many things imo: subs, rmt, market flipping, gambling. A friend of mine made 500m in a night just by death rolling xD

Just because someone owns multiple houses doesn't always equal RMT tho, if we're gonna be real. There are ways to make disgusting amounts just using ways the game offers. 8 chars on your server can net you like 8m-ish with levequests per 100 leves for example.

The question that never gets answered; Why do you need 5+ houses? The only legitimate answers I have ever been given was for their use in a door to door roleplay district. That, I can understand. But to own so many of them for submarine farming? To impress people? Just because you can? It's not hard to understand why so many people are trying to buy up and hoard these houses when their RMT value, especially for mediums/larges on the OG servers are regularily listed for $800+ in RMT. Honestly I'd like to know literally any reasons multi-home owners have for why they need so many houses.

What about that is a bot? It's probably just a guy using the FC homes for subs. If there's a ToS violation here, it's way more likely that it's RMT (selling gil gotten from all those submarines), not botting, unless you mean he's automating the submarine process somehow.

In any case, I wouldn't get so stressed out about it if I were you. It's obvious that the devs don't actually give two shits about RMT in their own game, so you shouldn't worry more than they do since they're paid to care and still can't seem to give a shit. There are bots just sitting under Limsa every day, easiest target imaginable, and nobody at cbu3 does anything about it. The game itself tracks a history of your trades and a marketboard transaction history as well, but when someone buys a biscuit for 9 million gil it doesn't set off a red flag anywhere. These guys will meet up in town with their buyers and just stand there handing them 100 mil for like 10 minutes and nothing happens. Then when someone does get banned, it's the low level seller mule account and not the guys buying it on their mains. If this company cared about actually stopping RMT, they'd ban the buyer for breaking the ToS, which would scare others from buying, which would actually put a dent in the RMTers' profits and make them consider other games instead. Or they'd stop letting these people buy entire FC wards for obvious moneyprinting for rmt, or just remove the incentive altogether by nerfing subs so people can't literally print money. "Oh but you don't know for sure that it's rmt" bruh do you really think someone's out here doing this 6 month multi million gil investment across 30 houses just to amass a shit-ton of gil and then stare at it since it's basically pointless after the 50mil mark? Like, can we stop with this coy devil's advocate bullshit and just call it what it is. I know people who enjoy looking at big number, and even they aren't out here buying entire wards. This shit right here? In this specific scenario? At the very least, a competent group would say it warrants investigation.

But, again, it doesn't matter anyway. The company managing this game literally does not care. They'll only ban a handful of mule accounts at a time instead of going after real solutions. If RMT is a flood of water into a sinking ship, then CBU3's response to that flood is the equivalent of patching a single hole in a single wall with a band-aid. They don't care, and it's their job to care. Why do you? Fuck it. I've played maplestory private servers with better rmt protections than this game, lol.

People don't have the privilege to buy houses where they want anymore. Not after the lottery was implemented. If there are free houses on the server, they have no cause to complain.

And all EU servers + Dynamis have empty house plots next to each other that friends can get in all districts. Fc plots, the kind of houses you seem to think people are deprived of.
