It's Geomancer. It has to be or this is one hell of a coincidence: During the Stormblood questline, "The Four Lords" we learn a bit about Geomancy being in Doma from Soroban and Genbu who are both "turtles." You are later given a quest called "Tortoise in Time" that unlocks The Swallow's Compass dungeon which was built as a Geomancy temple.

Geomancer is already established in this game as being a healer class though; kinda the earthly cousin to the starry Astrologian. If they hadn’t already confirmed a caster, I may have thought Geomancer too. I’m wondering if we may get some sort of Druid-like caster dps though…

This is too crazy, to the point that it only makes sense if you go out of your way just to find Necromancer.

And it has nothing to do with the Samurai shirt, cause that at least makes sense and it had a believable foundation. Showing a completely unrelated thing, like TMNT to make the connection to a dead meme is some impressive mental gymnastics.
I would sooner believe that it was hinting at Corsair because in FFXI one of the weapons the Corsairs used was named "Mayhem".

And no, the Spiderman shirt didn't have a believable foundation. It was also very much a stretch.

You may be right that the shirt is supposed to be hinting at Corsair but if that's all it's hinting at it would be a disappointment when the trailer had already shown enough for people to be saying Corsair before the shirt was even revealed.

Lmao, talk about a crazy twist. I remember in X-2, there's a 'gun-mage' job but it's a version of Blue Mage there.

If this would happen... It would defintely be the "Dancer of the casters" as in a job with an specific aesthetic that is rarely catered when getting caster items.

What I think the shirt means? Geomancer because of the turtles > kojin.
What I want the shirt to end up meaning? Pictomancer because of the renaissance artists
Shirt aside, what I - really - wanted the job to be? Puppetmaster, curse/hex caster with puppet weapon. Alas there's zero clues to the TMNT pointing to this, the only chance would be that the shirt refers to the melee dps instead.

Im still in time mage camp, but a pretty convincing argument I saw for Corsair/pirate had:

1) Ninja turtles, with the pirates vs ninjas theme
2) Mayhem was a Corsair weapon in ffxi
3) the region where the Kojin are found in game is overrun by pirates
4) the trailer video; somebody clearly has been playing Assassins Creed Black Flag. The leather cross straps under the overcoat are likely holding guns; his hand is resting on an invisible cutlass.

Oh right, Yoshi-P's tshirt - who knows - generally the hint is only obvous after the event, but is as clear as Ul'dahn mud otherwise, and this is very much the case here (I'm not going to even try and guess, as it's probably going to be wrong either way).
