Naoki Yoshida says negative comments from trolls are "tiresome"

At the risk of sounding cruel... too bad, so sad. The examples given are not outright hateful. Because of this I can take this one of two ways.

1) Yoshi P is being genuine here and he needs to grow thicker skin

2) Yoshi P is putting on an act and crying crocodile tears to garner sympathy and exploit his audience's parasocial relationship with him. (which wouldn't be new or surprising at all)

There's a chance that the actual hateful stuff just wasn't shown, but I feel that if you're going to say that there are 'tiresome' hateful comments, you need to give proper examples or it comes off as overreacting to negative feedback that you may or may not deserve. Just read the feedback, negative or not, and filter out the actual troll posts. If that's too much for you, grow thicker skin or get someone else to do it for you.

Funny, so he doesn't want to be on the Board, and then also claimed in 2016 he didn't want to be in the Producer role for 14 according to this... really doesn't sound like a recipe for happiness.

Having someone who doesn't want the role of producer for the game is only going to hurt it long-term, and probably already has by now.

Nothing wrong with saying it gets tiresome. Thick skin or thin, I think most of us would agree that trolling gets tiresome.

I doubt he's getting upset at comments directed only at him. But he is a boss looking out for his workers doing their best at their jobs who are also getting targeted by some of the comments.

Indeed. As far as I can tell its not like he is poo-pooing any criticism he gets, he seems to just be pointing out how tiresome trolls and the like can be (This forum alone proves that…) I know some people like to treat Yoshi-P as if he is the devil recently, but I do not see why he should be bared from speaking honestly about such stuff. Its not a weakness to acknowledge it.
