That's kinda a really disingenuous statement without context. The term microtransaction is usually used for games that promote lootboxes, gacha mechanics and pay to win. Nothing of which applies to the XIV store. I mean, to be fair if your glam is bad i guess that makes you also a bad player but yeah...

So it's kinda unfair of you to leave that specific context out, since the gacha mechanics of most freemium microtransaction games are the thing that is addictive, especially when the game is specifically designed to give you more power the more money you spend. Again nothing of which applies to XIV.

Lastly XIV, unlike microtransaction games, doesn't push invasive advertisement onto you. Or have you seen popups ingame about the latest store items? Me neither.

So next time maybe show the full picture cause your half baked attempt to paint something as the same as gacha cashgrab games is also very morally wrong and unethical.
