A few think Shinryu Ult might have been the Ult they mentioned having to push to side after having issues putting it together. So dunno if its totally scrapped or on a "well try again later" deal.

I can't see them doing anything with Sephiroth who isn't even in this game before others that are like Shinryu or the Four Lords.

I'd be totally fine with that too so long as they allow me to push the statues out of alignment while dressed as a clown.

they're not going to add an ultimate raid for an enemy that isn't already in the game, sephiroth has not been in this game yet, it'll only be an ultimate raid once something similar has been in the game already.

Regular Sephiroth would be too dangerous to put inside the FFXIV universe. No... we need the SAFER version instead, so that we'll at least stand a chance.

Sephiroth is the 'in case of emergency, break glass' of Final Fantasy, our version of Illidan for WOW. Subs dropped in WOD, they break out Illidan memberberries for Legion, playerbase happier again. Same here, if the subs ever start getting too low, they'll break out Seph. But if they ever do have to do that, it'd be the proof that the game's on it's deathbed

also why on earth would we want 'scuffed Kefka who couldn't even do what Kefka did' when we have Kefka in the game already? Like I could say 'I liked the last fight set in FF10' but that doesn't mean I want Sin as a fight here. It's like when the 'noise from below' was first mentioned and people went wild about how it's either Lavos, or Jenova. Can't be a FF14 unique threat, must be a reference to an older game! What is it about Sephiroth/Jenova that people find so fascinating I will never know
