NA FanFest Expectations?(Idea, or Hopes?)

I hope we get some hints about what 7.0 might be about, although am not entirely convinced we will considering the 6.X series isn't done yet.

7.0 will be discussed during the keynote on day one. Every opening of the 1st day of each Fan Fest will go over 7.0 stuff. The live letters tend to be about whatever patch will be coming out next.

There's not even Q&A, so there's probably going to be just few mild teasers about 7.0, everything will be said in strict PR talk, and that's all.

Keynote will probably have some 7.0 announcements, LL will have info about the rest of 6.X, that's my bet.

There will be a sort of Q&A as the ask Kate thread they made a month back will probably be asked during the panel that has her, Matt and Koji on it.

Yeah, NA fanfest is usually pretty bare for next expansion info. Often just one of the new jobs, art of some of the new regions new raids, and some art of raids and a teaser of trailer.

Biggest thing I am excited for(and moreso because Yoshi expressed a lot of excitement towards it recently in an interview) is the new graphics update. I wanna see more of the work on that and if it's even better than what they showed off last year in Feb/2022!

The graphic update and female Hrothgar are what I'm looking forward to the most, my Roe's pores would make a dermatologist cry. My pipe dream is they overhaul healers too, but I kinda just expect we're getting a 10 potency upgrade to our dot, another ogcd heal and call it a day.

I'd like to see Highlander men given additional facial options that allow them to be designed closer to looking like Snow (FFXIII) and Gladio (FFXV) as well as given access to authentic eyebrows.

Mostly I want to see them graphics. Show me side by side old Heavensward poorly tessellated mashed potatoes looking lumpy ground textures next to some new and good version of it. Ideally with some gameplay videos of it running.

I feel like they usually just do a teaser for the expansion at the NA Fanfests, so we'll just get some slides that say like "New Job(s?) " because they still aren't great at setting expectations. And maybe we'll get some concept art for new areas and raids and stuff, but I feel like they probably want to throw the curviest curveball they can about where we're going in 7.0 so maybe we won't even get much of that.

None, just neutral about it. Sure i can't wait for the graphics update as i am a big fan of weather and atmosphere in Games, but everything else is up in the air really. Gonna wait and see what happens

Definitely would be nice to see some side by side comparisons, I mean they haven't shown anything since feb 2022 and even the samples with improvements were a month in the works so they surely must have a lot done under the belt and something sizable they can show or tease throughout each fanfest. Heck I would even take them spending more resources just making the free trial sparkly for new people and they update other expansions during the 7.X series of patches at this point lol just so me something dammit lol Anything will look better then whats there so I am happy to have an improvement all the same.

Okay - thank you. I was new to the game post-Endwalker, so this is the first time I'll experience this sort of thing first hand!
