Not sure if Guild War 2 would be up your alley either then. I will say it has a 100% better glamor system in that everything equipped at one point or another gets tossed into your glamor pool to be used freely at any time. You can also dye each section of the armor as well. You start with a preset selection of dyes and earn more as quest rewards. However the game is also action based and not tab targeting much like Dragon's Dogma. This means you connect only if your weapon connects when you swing it.

Another good thing is that the entire base game is F2P and the expansions are buy to own which means once you buy the expansions...you don't pay for anything else because it is not subscription based. It's a great game to have on the backburner if FFXIV seems to have a lull in content. You basically use GW2 until the next patch for 14 hits and then you jump back in.

If FFXIV is enough for you though then that's great!
