FF16 expansions/DLCs in the work? How will this affect FF14?

Ok explain why Leviathan isn't in the game. Did you play FF16? Because it's incredibly obvious they're holding back content for later.

Leaving possible future story threads isn't them holding back. The narrative and game still works without having Leviathan in the picture. Other story driven games do this for the sake of adding extra details in their lore without needing for the game to address every single thing.
