You probably should have done the data analysis on EU after the upcoming auto-demolition waves. And EU is getting 8 new servers. So really the housing problems are mostly on 3 North American data centers.

They wont go forward with the new EU DC, no way, they couldnt even fill 2 servers on each DC.
I'm just going by the announcement they've done in the past. It would be better if NA got a 5th data center instead and EU got nothing, but I don't know if it's physically possible. Who knows how far in advance these things are being planned. Hardware prep, hiring people, buying or renting the space, etc.
I plan to get new data sometime next week after demolitions start, to see how many plots were demolished. As for EU getting 8 new servers - ye, I don't think that's good idea, it's pretty clear from Dynamis that people are not very eager to jump on entirely separate DC just for a small house (people do transfer for M or L houses, but there's only 1500 private Ms or Ls, and 400 unrestricted Ms or Ls per server, if all 30 wards are open), and that's NA, which has higher population per server than EU. And saying that only NA has housing problems - well, you have data right here, so you can make your own educated opinion.
You literally quoted my educated opinion.EU is getting the number of servers that according to you will bring it's population density to JP levels. Which leaves... only NA.
Yes, most likely in 7.0 (potentially in some later 6.5X patch), which is at least year away, and demolition has been on and off since the war started. So situation was pretty bad at the very least from over a year ago, and will be bad for one more year. Once demolition finally resumes, we might have ~50 non-FC plots per cycle, similar to NA, but I still wouldn't call that good or non-problematic.
Your server had 15 plots available for private buyers (12 of them in unrestricted wards), so I really wouldn't say that "housing problems are mostly on 3 North American data centers".
You could just correct yourself and say you meant in the future, otherwise it seems like you try claim current situation in EU is good, which is clearly not.
One more year? Auto demo is hitting this week and according to the official announcement the DC has been scheduled for this summer. https://eu.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodes...8a3986554a2#06Yes, most likely in 7.0 (potentially in some later 6.5X patch), which is at least year away, and demolition has been on and off since the war started. I mean, you did this poor comparison of EU vs other servers that already have demolition like 3 days before EU is about to get plots that were abandoned since Dec 2021. Why? Did you forget that it was happening or did you just want to gather some data moments before it becomes irrelevant? Don't worry, I'll post again to remind you.
Once again we havent heard anything about the expansion for EU in a very long time, if it happens in the game's current state, be ready to see a massive split in the population, it'll be a disaster, either that, or the new DC will just be an abandoned wasteland worse than what Materia is at this point. One more year? Also EU housing is not in a very good state, but that is also partially on the players for refusing to move to Raiden/Sagittarius, those 2 worlds with 1 on each DC have more than available housing, it's basically free real estate, you can move over and get at the very least a small shirogane plot on the first round, but people dont want to do that, they'd rather complain they dont get one on Ragnarok or on Zodiark, but that's on them, so if you see it that way, housing is fine on EU, however if you go by the "old" worlds, no it isnt fine, but the new worlds are wide open for people that want houses.
