Can they put some more effort into seasonal events?

This event felt like the introduction quest to the Gold Saucer, which is weird because it's been around for like 8 years. I watched all the different cutscenes, but I'm not sure why. They were just like "...Here's Mt Corel! ... ok, that's it!" I can only assume that lots of new players don't know the Gold Saucer exists and SE was hoping the event would get their attention, so they just made an event that's another tutorial.

'Filler' events were never big on the rewards, so no idea where this is coming from.

The last few seasonal ones were pretty good on that.

Its a filler event I don't expect something stand out wise its just there to generate more MGP...would I like new things content wise sure but in this instance like...eh. Also someone who mentioned Genshins...please take into account that game makes sooooooooooo much damn money like honkai star rail and genshin combined made more money then the entire sony gaming division. They have the money to spend on a large team to pump out content. Not saying S-E isn't huge they are a big company but their money is split across multiple divisions doing different things.

The problem is that the seasonal events stories and rewards have been dwindling to less and less each year though. What should be filler in-between content patches isn't very filling or rewarding. ( ´△｀)

I really enjoyed the Valentione's Day event this year, and the gear we got was positively lovely. Does that make this event good? No, because each event is its own thing.

But that's the thing... you're lumping them all together as if every seasonal event was equal, and they aren't.

I would also love if past rewards where earnable in newer events, rather then just stuck on the Store. Again, giveing us a reason to farm the currency.

Genshin Impact a free to play mobile gatcha game puts out events every 40 days that are fully voiced and an engaging story. FF which is a subscription game with a full price tag does like 5 events a year and still can't put 10% of the effort. Something is wrong.

Different game, different business model, different set of platforms, different audience, different country of origin, different combat style.

Quality of the sidequest aside, I will note that I was grateful that:

they didn't find some lame excuse for Godbert to strip off and run around in his underpants as they usually do - I am completely sick of that unfunny, antique, routine which makes me reluctant to play any content that involves him
