And duos/trios can obliterate enemy teams easily if they aren't coordinated. If i had a ninja sidekick all the time i would win every match cause that's just how it would go, lol. No thanks, leave the solo queue alone. For both ranked and unranked.

Because casual pvpers totally don't exist *eye roll*. No one grouping up in casual queue is taking the matches seriously. People just want to play with their friends.

Of course casual pvpers exist, which is why solo queue should stay the way it is so the fun for them isn't ruined by a burst dps + ninja combo. Which can clear entire teams in seconds.

And yes people want to play with friends, me too! I feel like SE should anyways introduce arena like pvp. With 2v2 or 3v3. That way smaller teams and friendgroups can also group up.

It's almost like you dont know how niche the PVP is in FFXIV, what you suggest would kill it entirely. There are not enough players for what you want.

Just because it makes it more attractive to you. Doesn't mean it makes it attractive for everyone else. For reasons people have already posted, they have concerns about the effects premades would have on the solo queue players. You can't ignore that, and pretend that these concerns don't exist, and won't push people away from CC. CC isn't dying right now, the queues are fine, and they've been fine even up to the end of seasons, I've been able to get games until the late hours of the night. When you make CC less fun for the solo queuers you depend upon to fill gaps in your team, they're not going to reque.

You don't need your friends to hold your hand through every piece of content in this game. Theres nothing wrong with just queuing with your friend, at the same time with the chance of being put on opposite teams if for some reason you just can't help yourself.

And again, your source for this statement is the same as stormpeaks, just a "just trust me bro". You don't know if that change wouldn't draw more people to pvp, when they can actually do it with friends and that without ruining everyones fun, lol.

I find it hilarious how you jump into the breach, talking about something that was never the topic of this thread like you need to defend some trolls honor. You talk and talk about solo being ruined, solo not having fun. Solo wouldn't even be touched in that hypothetical scenario. It would be the same as ever. And for some people that is what they want but others maybe want a bit more coordinated matches that aren't as chaotic.

Maybe you should leave your assumptions which are based on nothing at all at the door. But as i told already stormpeaks, you push this thread and make the problem PvP has more visible. So that is a positive for me.

However, if it was a separate queue for premades that does not affect me or my queue time, fine. Splitting one queue into two queues is inevitably going to affect somebody's queue time, though. Especially during the quiet hours.

That would be SE problem to solve tho, the popularity i mean. They have totally the means to make pvp as popular as they would like it to be, through extra achievements, titles and other rewards they can pump into it.

But yeah i have the same opinion, groups in solo matches would be awful.

It's just not viable, not with how small the PVP community is in this game, that's what Ranaku doesnt get, people wont just magically pop out of nowhere because you can party as a group, the ones that want to play as a group already do so by queuing at the same time and it works in 80% of the time.

Having a different queue just means people will sit endlessly in queue with no pop at all, or some will and it will split the already very niche community into two, resulting in much longer queue times for casual solo play.
