I imagine we'll get both varieties too, tamers and summoners, like every MMO has.

I don't mind tamer's as long as the pet stays with you and grows with your character, what FF11 had with pets turning against their master was just tedious and infuriating.

I agree, and each "animal" type should have it's own skillset.

Second part: Yeah that was a little obnoxious, don't know how many times mid-fight a mob would de-charm and I'd get DED.

Sticth together games, until we have a functional (FF[rankenstien]) albeit a little less clunky than the old doctors.
