He/she hasn't said anything incorrect though. For the most part EW has the exact same cadence of content. Nothing's really changed, but a lot of people are suddenly complaining about it out of nowhere. They are also correct that Eureka and Bozja were wildly unpopular at release. I hated Bozja with every fiber of my being and wanted a new deep dungeon over it and we got exactly that this expansion and I'm quite happy with it.

My only complaint this expansion is the failure of the new variant/criterion dungeons, because they are extremely fun, but there's no carrot to draw people in to play them. They could have easily been a mythic+ type content or some kind of midcore end game progression if SE wasn't so afraid of changing their gear progression system.

Bozja was some of the best content that we got, with duels, 3 48-man raids, 1 Savage 48-man raid, and a few interesting CEs. It also offered Lost actions which significantly changed how certain jobs play like WAR + Blood Rage, BLM + Chainspell etc, honestly that in itself is excellent content

I didn't bother to read the text wall they made, so I dunno. Eureka, Bozja though hate or love. I personally liked it, I agree a mythic+ system would be cool.

I personally just see a lack of effort in the quality of the story post EW and Omega/Ivalice/Nier etc. seemed way more interesting quest wise and more fun.

PvP has always been more my forte and I think Feast was a good mode for hardcore players, I personally dont find CC fun. Mainly because its an overwatch simulator. I prefer arena style combat.

Anyhow, like I said I feel there's lack of effort/quality.

Perhaps instead of playing other games, yoshi p should put more effort in FFXIV content.

Mythic+ is a good idea though.

It's the exact same cadence of content? In what world? Each patch is taking weeks to months longer then before EW and each one has less content then ever. Looking back fondly at Stormblood where we got Hildibrand, engaging relics, Eureka, a deep dungeon, more trial and dungeon content, AND two ultimates. EW is a joke in comparison.

They took months between each major patch in SB... So I dunno what the hell you're on about there. EW has extended the patch cycles by a single week, so yes, its the same damn cadence. We've gotten different type of content, but the amount of content released is literally identical.

Also, "engaging relics" is debateable lmao. I'll take the current relics over that crap. Eureka was boring garbage and nothing more than a grind for the sake of a grind. Good riddance.

I can’t say the same for this relic grind, I’ve had all 90’s since like week 4 of endwalker, so doing the roulette grind again sucks for me. Other than that I feel like things are the same as they always are, and I’ve played since 2.0 beta.
