Ultimates are not hard because they have harder mechanics, they're just far less recoverable in EW (compared to on-patch UCOB and UWU). But sure. They are the ONLY type of combat content that is harder in EW. (But that probably isn't true for saus legends)
Savages are absolutely not harder though lmao. But can't expect ShB babies to know much about raiding history in this game.
It is a little unfortunate if they're having to dumb down the dungeons for the sake of making them workable for trusts.
I wouldn't mind it if they did total revamps of the fights like with Praetorium but it sounds more like they just kinda...removed mechanics that wouldn't work with trusts.

I’m fine with being simple and liking simple things. I disagree the new steps are merely a striking dummy; it’s a cute little fight that fulfills the needs of the story at that point and replaces an instance (and unnecessary queue) that was long past its prime.
I understand wanting “more” and “better”— there’s always room for both — but what we have suits the story at that point just fine.
gone are the halcyon days of queuing into bardram's mettle and inspecting the tank and finding that he's still in shire gear
Way back when, I queued into it while leveling white mage, and got a tank in non-augmented Ironworks gear. I have never noped out of a duty faster.
