Because titles are a dime a dozen nowadays, and players already get high iLvl gear from savage.
Just accept the fact that not all rewards are catered to you, or the players you're talking for.
A mistake in HoH and OE = Wipe 90% of the time a mistake those places count in my head as something serious... if you spring a trap we will let you die and revive after mentality, compared to savage then 1 death of a team and you have to start over, it hurt at floor 97... 67.... 89....But see PotD and HoH actually allow for you to make mistakes without it costing the entire team. Making a mistake in Savages very easily wipes the team. With a disability that can be completely out of your control no matter how skilled you are. Try playing a savage when your hands will at random go weak an unable to press any buttons, frequently.
In PotD its ok because your team members can still survive even if you get taken down in a moment like this.
Think of how theres a shark mount behind an ocean fishing achievement. That one is accessible to a degree. The axolotl could be behind a similar change. It takes skill, strategy and time.
You only got one life in those places for the group that is, and if your team mates and you die too much you run into the problem called time devestatingly quick.
The content is barred just as much in as Savage is, though the bosses is more forgiving and yet not, get onto the mission, as for the mount in Savage 4th Raid, the mount drops EVERYTIME, so you just have to do it 8 times with same group.
They are getting a reward for it, great ilvl gear and titles and the ability to actually enjoy the content.Look at it this way. These people are doing something we can't and they deserve a reward for that. It is just our bad luck that this time there is something we want locked behind something we can't do.
There is no way for the devs to say oh we can give this because no one will want it or we can't give this because people will want it. It is not possible for them to go into every players head and psychic out how things will be.
There is a great deal of content we CAN do even if it is hard for us. You mentioned PoTD yourself.
We have a choice. Accept with grace that this is not possible or get carried later to get it.
But yeah i get what you mean. Its not exactly something easy to rule a line and I don't really expect them to.
I suppose its just frustrating that they advertise things like the axolotl in a live letter, a fun light hearted mount riding on the island, only to later reveal its completely inaccessible if you can't do savages.
It would be rough on players who worked hard to get these things only for it to be now available from elsewhere, I wouldn't really want that to happen. It'd just be nice if heading forward they'd considered keeping future mounts like the axolotl to more accessible things.
I think you misunderstood my point. I was referring to the fact that some of the PvP rewards eventually go away. This is irrelevant to however difficult the grind is vs another. The argument is about inaccessibility. Savage and Hunt rewards are always there. You work at them gradually at your own pace casually and eventually one day get them. The PvP rewards you need to put front and center for fear of missing out. Maybe I live in my own little head space on this one but I'll always place FOMO rewards above any other lengthy grind in the game. Especially since there's no certainty that a new player that joins later will have an equal opportunity to acquire same rewards. Some of the PvP ones you can get ALL THE time... but if you refer to the ones dropping from the Malmstones Series acquireing x levels to unlock it there, its not to difficult to do and it is not barred behind massive amounts of content either, you can do this content from level 30 any class that is Disciples of War/Magic.
As for The Hunt top end hunt mounts, then you need to be dedicated to the hunt and getting into community that does the hunt, the Centurio Tiger is definetely one of the most cool mounts in the entire game ( at least for me ) and also you can get the Triceratops and with SHB mobs and Victor with EW.
The ones barred behind massive achievements... is the gold in the end for the dedicated PvP person, only got a few of them myself.
You need to put up the dedication to get these things, especially if you really want them... because they are not there for the reason of being easy to get.
No. The way it is now is perfectly fine. People who do the content get the rewards they deserve and people who don't do the content don't get the rewards. The experience of doing savage is made fun because of the fact that you get rewards that can only be gotten from that content.
God forbid you're rewarded with cool stuff for clearing the hardest content.
Don't raiders deserve a cute mount, too?
My only wish for normal versus Savage rewards is having them swap dyeing and VFX. They can make Savage as shiny and with as many effects as possible. I just want the very basic function of not having to wear grey or black or white or glam over something if I want to wear something with color.
Axolotls are creepy as heck Idk why people want this mount so much, the less I see it around the better for me at least D:
They should make more mounts and glams to reward people doing things. Currently PvP Rewards straight out suck and there's very little reason to play Mahjong for example.
Considering that there are disabled players who are able to successfully tackle Savage while the content is current, how about:
No.
Content gets its assigned rewards, some of which are intended to be visual representations of content the player has completed. Those who want that specific reward need to do that specific content.
According to Lodestone, you were able to get Demi-Ozma. If you can get that, you'll be able to get the Axolotl at some point in the future along with the dyeable gear.
Just to be clear, I'm not trying to say it's a skill issue on your part. I know different types of disabilities create different limitations (being disabled myself). But I don't feel turning special rewards into generic rewards is the right approach.
