SE please stop making mounts and glams inaccessible

Time spent and effort spent aren't really the same.



If it's easy content, toy need to take a lot longer or you disencentivize people doing the hard content.



You already said you can wait until you out gear it and out level it to do so. That's the compromise.



Ultimate is meant to be hard forever. They don't want to cheapen that (any further than run sellers already do) by allowing you to just.... Do CT a few times to get it.

People should do the hard content because they want to do the hard content. Like how people should play FFXIV because they want to play a game. You already have other incentives to do the hard content like high ilvl gear and achievements.

Also yes I did say thats a possibility, but it will take many years before thats the case and still could be too difficult for people less ability and no one to carry them through.
My suggestion is that something like an axolotl shouldnt be put behind a savage in the first place.

FFXIV is a game people play for fun, it is not a job. If players want to do savages its because they want to do that kind of content. Yeah you could give them titles and achievements as rewards. High iLvl gear would make sense too as it would make doing the savage content also more efficient. There are plenty of people who do savages and ultimate for that kind of reward as it is now.

Why not provide us with mounts though? High ilvl gear isn't particularly useful as an "end goal" because if the gear just helps you beat the thing that you just proved you can beat, what's it matter? And not to mention, giving raiders high ilvl gear (higher than it is now) historically makes tons of people angry anyway in MMOs, that's why XIV augmented tome gear is the same ilvl (and why ultimate weapons only give an extra materia slot). Titles just aren't a great reward for a tier either, tbh.

I could say the same thing about the cute glams from Island Sanctuary if I really wanted, that content bores me to tears and I have no desire to run around my island clicking for hours to get it. But I aint gonna go and say that those rewards should be made easier to obtain just so I don't have to do it.

I think things locked behind PvP is far more inaccessible than anything in Savage. At least Savage can be eventually unsync'd. PvP rewards are limited time and given out to an exclusive number.

You don't get what a disability is do you. I can start 'working on it' but that is never going to get me past my limitations. Tell someone in a wheelchair to start working on walking.

It is, you just need to clear the current raid tier in normal... then do each one of them in savag, when that is released, believe its next week it goes live, not all things should be gained by just hitting two buttons in a figure of speech.

Next you are going to say would that the Nigth Pegasus should drop from floor hoards 60 POTD, or the Special Horse from HOH, should be in loot boxes, and not 4 full clears to 100, same with the Orthos Tiger... or for that sake the mounts that can drop from the highend loot boxes those places.

I am being more than fair when mentioning this or that though... The Blumage Morbol mount should then also be given easy? or PvP Mounts?

sounds like a skill issue problem to me. savage isnt hard and is completely accessible. i am trash at this game and i can clear savage so that REALLY says something. as for ulti waeapons, THE FANCY WEAPONS ARE WHY MOST PEOPLE DO THEM. Stop trying to take rewards away from people who enjoy a challenge and just get good.

I'm not trying to take rewards away from people. They would still have access to get them through whatever alternate achievements they could be put behind??? They could still be something to be proud of getting if its something that takes time or strategy to get.
Also again to reiterate, if they enjoy the challenge then a cool title and high ilvl gear should be already great as it is? Since many people do it for that already?

You fail to see what a disability is. I personally have narcolepsy and cataplexy - research it or dont. There are many other illnesses or disabilities that will effect game play that is not 'skill'

SE needs to stop locking glams and mounts behind raids. I'm sure people have raised this many times, but its worth mentioning again since its suggested the axolotl mount is behind the upcoming savage.



SE will release a good looking glam but only provide the dyable version behind the savages. A mount teased in the live letter is now presumed to be a savage mount? The most visually impressive weapons of the game are behind ultimates.

All are completely inaccessible for many players with disabilities or other such issues. Its frustrating when this is a game we pay to play and we get cut off from content like this.

I get that they want to reward players able to defeat hard content, but then why not provide them with unique titles or high iLvl gear thats useful for the content they are doing?

As it is now, I and many others will have to wait until a couple expansions later when the savages might be doable unsynced. And in the case of Ultimates it will always be an unobtainable dream.

But see PotD and HoH actually allow for you to make mistakes without it costing the entire team. Making a mistake in Savages very easily wipes the team. With a disability that can be completely out of your control no matter how skilled you are. Try playing a savage when your hands will at random go weak an unable to press any buttons, frequently.
In PotD its ok because your team members can still survive even if you get taken down in a moment like this.

Think of how theres a shark mount behind an ocean fishing achievement. That one is accessible to a degree. The axolotl could be behind a similar change. It takes skill, strategy and time.

Some of the PvP ones you can get ALL THE time... but if you refer to the ones dropping from the Malmstones Series acquireing x levels to unlock it there, its not to difficult to do and it is not barred behind massive amounts of content either, you can do this content from level 30 any class that is Disciples of War/Magic.

As for The Hunt top end hunt mounts, then you need to be dedicated to the hunt and getting into community that does the hunt, the Centurio Tiger is definetely one of the most cool mounts in the entire game ( at least for me ) and also you can get the Triceratops and with SHB mobs and Victor with EW.

The ones barred behind massive achievements... is the gold in the end for the dedicated PvP person, only got a few of them myself.

You need to put up the dedication to get these things, especially if you really want them... because they are not there for the reason of being easy to get.

Look at it this way. These people are doing something we can't and they deserve a reward for that. It is just our bad luck that this time there is something we want locked behind something we can't do.

There is no way for the devs to say oh we can give this because no one will want it or we can't give this because people will want it. It is not possible for them to go into every players head and psychic out how things will be.

There is a great deal of content we CAN do even if it is hard for us. You mentioned PoTD yourself.

We have a choice. Accept with grace that this is not possible or get carried later to get it.
