The problem is the story they have is far too simple to last for 5 patches, so the whole galremald part of 6.3 was utterly useless to the story, it was just there because they can't spend 5 fucking minutes without the twins, and everything before reaching the 13th moon in 6.4 is extended to the brim? a dungeon for a fuel run, seriously? Quests about getting authorisation? What is this? The trial and the cinematic after it are the only things that makes the story progress and as soon as it begin to lift off, it ends. The rest is temporisation because they have to make it last for 5 patches to have enough trials. 6.3 msq disappointed me, 6.4 made me angry that there is so few development, and now I have to wait for 4 more month (6 if they put the end in 6.55) after being give breadcrum in the 2 last patches. I miss the shadowbringer patch where everything in the msq had a point, and at the end of a patch msq, I was excited for what was coming.
Are they trying to kill every excitement and expectations that people might have for future patches? because they're doing a good job so far.

Yeah the story is way too simple. And it almost just feels like a checklist:The problem is the story they have is far too simple to last for 5 patches, so the whole galremald part of 6.3 was utterly useless to the story, it was just there because they can't spend 5 fucking minutes without the twins, and everything before reaching the 13th moon in 6.4 is extended to the brim? a dungeon for a fuel run, seriously? 1. Tease about 7.0 story, so make Thancred randomly come in and have a dialogue with Urianger about mysterious patron.
2. Make sure to progress Garlemald
3. Bunnies are cute and they haven't been in the MSQ for a while. Make sure to have cute scene with bunnies.
4. Progress Y'shtola's arc by reminding players about inter-shard travel but plug the plot hole of being able to travel to the Thirteenth with an essay from Yshtola explaining the diff.
5. Obligatory alchemist involvement because people love them.
I'm all for each of these elements. I even don't mind the Loporrits. The issue is that each little point they shoved into the plot has like half a quest of development. It comes together like random darts on a board. Very shallow. The plot barely explored anything. There's the Garlemald magistrates, and we see two of them. But then there's zero exploration of what magistrates are doing after the civil war (no idea, other than maybe an unnamed high-class citizen writing a book documenting the recent history of Garlemald). No exploration of their role in society. No exploration of how the commonfolk feel about their relative well off standard of living. No exploration of how their motivations might be at odds with the citizenry. Etc.

All I'm going to say is thirsty Estinian fans are in for a treat.
Oh yeah Im sure people with trauma and ptsd are clearing faking it. I wish I could see you trying to reason somebody that suffers from it the same logic you have and see if you can get through them as easily as you believe it to be so.
