How long should this break be? 9 months long? Should we just quit the game for 2 years between expansions? Whats even the point of being a subscription based MMORPG if your mid expansion patches have nothing of substance.

Sure. Why not? If you're not having fun with it then why pay for it? I've certainly taken breaks in that time range before and I still enjoy the game when I come back. Maybe eventually one of those breaks will be permanent and I will not care because it's literally just a game.

If you're going to have 2 years between substantial content, it shouldn't be a monthly subscription based MMORPG - Especially if they're going to take the same development team and use our sub money to go make other games on our dollar, which we have to pay for seperately.

so don't pay for it if you don't wanna pay for it. don't pay for products or services you don't think are worth it. they are not going to lower the price or remove the subscription just because pete forumuser#15224 feels dejected about this expansion and there's nothing wrong with that
