This is the game. If you don't like it, don't play it. If you like it, play it. If you're waiting for new contents, unsub and resub later.

I think its a bit of both really. Its always fair to question the game, but I think some do need to also accept that not every expansion/patch/content is gonna be for them. Its the just the nature of live service games that tailored content is impossible. Sometimes burnout happens too, and taking a break is never a bad thing.
Plus there is complaining in a constructive manner, and then there is talking about the game as if the end is neigh and anyone who dares not accept that criticism is a blind sheep on copium. Not having the same negative feelings does not mean we think Yoshi-P is our BFF in shining Paladin gear, and outside of a troll or two I do not think think anyone is saying teh game is perfect and should never have any criticism.
Yess. My thing is the relic weapon grind. So I waited patiently for a year until "my" patch arrived and then I got... nothing?
Well a tomestone dump. Don't get me wrong, I am totally fine with grinding tomestones, but 1500 ist not grinding, that's just 3/4 of the amount I already had with me.
It’s a good thing not to answer your enemies. I scarcely ever do. Perhaps Emily is more like me than I am like myself. Perhaps she would rather not answer her friends, even. She keeps it all in her heart.
Oh my god...like...all of this and a bag of chips....there is complaining in a constructive manner, and then there is talking about the game as if the end is neigh and anyone who dares not accept that criticism is a blind sheep on copium. Agreed with the overall sentiment. I think most people realize that the game isn't perfect, and those that put Yoshi P on a pedestal really need to not. He's human, he has his own ideas, and own processes that he has to go through. He's not simultaneously our best friend and head dev of the game.
That said, I like the game a lot, and when I stop liking it, I'll stop paying for it. It really shouldn't be more complicated than that. Sure, voice your issues, that's awesome, but at some point, when all you have left are memes and insults, move on.
You might say that, but as long as you keep paying them, your actions say that you are satisfied with the state of the game.
It is precisely because they aren't your friends that asking them nicely while still doing business with them won't do anything.
