Sure, and it's completely plausible that the nodes in my route map have an issue as well as other nodes. My stuff is going through Dallas, the post you linked is going through Chicago. It's an overall NTT issue.

Further, in your quote, they hop from Chicago to San Jose, I hop from Dallas to Los Angeles. The only explanation is that *something* in NTT's network is causing the issue.
