Just because people don’t share your opinion of which plots are best, doesn’t mean they don’t know housing. These things vary from server to server, let alone person to person. Some plots may have an almost universal appeal, but it really is subjective in the end. If all I cared about was someone else’s opinion of the “value” of my plot, I wouldn’t be trying to move! lol
That's not "my opinion", some plots are more popular than others, and they also have double if not triple the amount of bids, counting from the day they are available through the lottery.
