It isn't 'homophobic' to criticise or dislike a character. Some people will attempt to imply otherwise, though they also appear to be doing so largely on the basis of stirring the pot and causing as much drama as possible. Once again, I'll refer to something I posted earlier - for someone supposedly eager to 'keep a distance' from the poster in question, there's some increasingly desperate attempts to try and bait him into showing up to defend himself against abhorrent accusations.

I think it's pretty clear that this isn't going anywhere civil or productive, though and I'm not particularly interested in arguing excessively with individuals who seem to believe that they can police what gay men should be attracted to and want to see more of where fictional characters are concerned.

Not everybody comes here to engage in activism or to encourage grand societal change, after all.
