Happy B-day Yoshi P.
And hopefully much more to come to FFXIV as well as making an even better game than what it is now.

If you know those two you'd know theyre saying it in a passive aggressive manner. But otherwise I expected worser response so its whatever I guess

You don't think it is a little unhealthy? Do the people wishing him happy birthday know the birthday of there doctor, hair cutter, or any number of people they interact with on a regular basis. In the past some have even sent gifts to SE.
Yeah, because telling somebody "Happy Birthday" is now considered unhealthy.
Next youre gonna tell me saying Please and Thank You is actually toxic positivity.
It takes very little effort to wish a happy birthday to someone who had a big part in creating something you love. I wouldn't call that unhealthy at all.

You missed the point. The point is how they interact with someone they have no physical connection with and how they interact with people in their everyday lives. If someone is just happy birthday person and they want to say that to everyone that is different. Just like I don't get mad at the lady who literally refers to everyone by "Dear", it is who she is. But if she just called me dear I would find that creepy.
You also must have missed where this is the same fan base on reddit who has organized and sent gifts in the past. Which got a bunch of support from the community.
You and I both know that people in this game, a lot of them have this very weird "e-relationship" with Yoshi P, that somehow they feel they will be noticed because of it, I dont think we've seen happy birthdays for Ion from the WoW team did we ? But in this game its "normalized" because as I just said they have this weird imaginary relationship with Yoshi P, and it actually is unhealthy, yes.
You people are very sad honestly. You let so much of what others do influence you so much that you felt the need to criticize and nitpick every single thing. You and I both know that people in this game, a lot of them have this very weird "e-relationship" with Yoshi P, that somehow they feel they will be noticed because of it, I dont think we've seen happy birthdays for Ion from the WoW team did we ? Like what do you actually accomplish being this way? Literally who cares. If you were actually normal as you claim that you are, you would just ignore this thread or at least not say anything.
If this thread were actually about people stepping over the boundaries then yeah we have a problem but so far, its just people saying "Happy Birthday". Its so dumb how everything in this forum has to lead to arguments like this.
I told my server at the restaurant Happy Birthday, because I overheard one of their co-workers mention it. Am I mentally unstable? You and I both know that people in this game, a lot of them have this very weird "e-relationship" with Yoshi P, that somehow they feel they will be noticed because of it, I dont think we've seen happy birthdays for Ion from the WoW team did we ? No, I'm polite and caring. Unlike you. A little kindness is what this world needs, but too many people are concerned about only themselves. This is why humanity is doomed.
