Those are not "different playstyles," those are the optimal playstyles. The fact is that the optimal BLM rotation is something virtually 99% of BLM main raiders don't even touch and can't even touch. I personally only ever got the F3P transpose lines down well enough, and that's literally the first baby transpose line out of dozens that are used, but I was already ahead of 99% of BLMs. That's how advanced BLM is. Whereas the optimal GNB or DRG or RDM or whatever rotations are very, very accessible for the median raider. BLM is seriously in a league of its own. One easy way to tell is that just executing BLM well with a few transpose lines shoot you up to 99th percentile. Hell, if you execute the standard rotation perfectly you'd probably get a 97/98 just like that. Most other jobs require some crit farming or ideal kill time to get a 99, i.e. so many people are playing at the ceiling you need to rely on crit RNG and/or good kill times and/or padding to carry you to the high 99s.

Oh, and, BLM is quite literally the only job left in the game whose rotation completely change based on RNG, due to transpose lines.

MNK is also difficult but to a lesser extent (and I would argue not in the same league as BLM at all) due to optimal drift.
