Oh hey Theodric. I missed ya. Yet there are many who do want death for death sake or because they have never liked that character and try to go into detail of how much they don't like said character. To the point of practically stating they'd throw a party and wish they could dance on that character's grave. Or that if people cried at any point during the story that they only did it for internet points. Or have never experienced a true loss in their life. And I'm sure there are people who do actually like fascist. I know you and I haven't seen eye to eye on many a thing if anything. Yet even in some discussions you evn have reacted in ways where if someone points out parallels to things take those things the wrong way. For instance I personally haven't held your liking of Garlean stuff to think that you enjoy said parallels when brought up. As you tend to write in a way that doesn't give off the impression that it's not just an aesthetics thing or how a character is written.
Meanwhile there are those who do write in such a way that when read by a lot of people it doesn't leave much nuance. To the point where it is very hard to tell if said poster isn't a fascist, hates women, just wants every character to die and to kick puppies. Only to get people to yell "stop trying to brow beat the minority or be thought police". I think we both know ignoring said posters or certain threads is easier said then done. As we both have made "why are you still here" posts. There have been some where a person goes back to a thread to continue a discussion with another poster about the topic. Normally in the past that was seen as the accepted thing to do instead of starting a new thread on the topic and having the Op come off as strange due to trying to continue a conversation that started in another thread. Had to snip some stuff out cause we write "books".
