It was both sides. I actually thought Graeham was on the EW is bad side. As a lot of the times they posted they agreed with stuff that was said. I just stopped reading their posts cause it was hard to follow and understand. As I said it's one thing to post an opinion and have it come off as that. It's another when someone states an opinion and then treats it as fact. As some people on here tend to do and then get mad when you point it out. The whole burger stuff wouldn't even became a thing if a poster or two didn't practically write an essay about how they didn't feel as though it was money well spent by the devs.

People can make criticisms about the game. It's just any time anyone disagrees with an Op that is doing so people almost instantly start calling those that do shills or white knights ect. That those who disagree with whatever view point must enjoy and like all aspects of the game. Then people will try and say things like this doesn't happen with positive threads. Yet when someone does try to make a positive thread it doesn't even last a whole page before someone like Stormpeaks or RO41 to come in and write one of their typical responses to anything positive said about the game.

Some people on here come off so bitter about the game. To the point they seem surprised when others ask them why are they still playing it. Or they're looking at the past with the rose colored glasses they accuse other of wearing. Others make it look like all they ever want to do is nitpick.

I'll confess: my gullible ass fell for it. I think I was charmed by his (her? Their?) colorful use of the English language.

Also, I really wanted to believe that the act was genuine. Kind of like wanting to believe in magic.

Huh you learn something new everyday. Obviously fooled me. And this is why people who respond to some other OPs with this is bait only to get people who go omg why can't you take things people say seriously. As there are people at least in the past who do write that way and aren't trying to mock or whatnot. It's like what I said to a friend one time there are people out there who aren't memeing about their loathing about certain characters or parts of the story. That really do feel in such a way about those things. Like back during ARR, HW, or SB no one would take a person complaining about the story if one of the reasons why they didn't like it back then is because we didn't go to the moon. Practically everyone back then would have pointed and laughed at them. As there was nothing in the story or from the devs the that would suggest such a thing.

Yet, there are those who still make those kinds of complaints or fully believe crap like skills gained from job crystals being equipped are equal to the use of a Staples easy button. And then when someone does try to give those types at their word you get people replying why did you take the bait. Then there are posters who seem to not see that another's reply to something was soaking in sarcasm that they take it at face value. Thus causing misunderstanding. Which no one then tries to clear up.

Wait that was a bit? I just thought English wasn't his first language and that's why it was bad. However his broken english as a 2nd language is better than some people where English is their only language.
