This is a prime example of the grey(t) community we have here. Truly marvelous.. and people wonder why base content can’t be more difficult.
Not that hard to wonder:
- The game is oriented towards its story. This means the available content must be easy to proceeed there
- A lot of the 'keep players busy' content is doing roulletes. So more difficult content must be available through that
- You dont want to isolate the difficult and easy content in roulettes, as a lot of people would avoid the easy content there
- Roulettes are mostly driven by players doing content the first time, which generaly is going to be the easier version of whatever content is given
This spiral is the cause, since even if the more difficult content is added, if no one queues for it, it never shows up. And since its more efficient reward wise to do roulettes, its generaly going to be a very rare occurence in your roulettes.
Sure, an additional roulette could be made, but thats again conflicting with 'taking players away from the easier content' thing you dont want.
It needs a significantly larger player base to get around that issue. As at that point adding a new roulette queue isnt going to deplete the other ones.
Ex trial roulette could probably be a thing but people would need a significant bribe to engage with that over just using PF for a specific trial they want and maybe some restrictions as to who can queue up.Not that hard to wonder:
