Online interactions bypass a game's ESRB rating because you can't account for how a community will act online. I think it's ultimately up to parents to just say no to their kids when they want to play online titles like these, but parents won't do their jobs anymore so now adults in their free time who go out of their way to say their clubs are adult only have to cease to exist because Timmy's got shit parents? Rubbish. Might as well shut down like 90% of the internet since it's got a lot of things that a minor shouldn't view but totally can view if he just opts to go there.
