Hey Ren Ran is ALL muscle.
Little Hercules is his nickname. Which by the way look up Little Hercules. That kid was...I think having your child workout so much they look like that is straight up child abuse.
Aren't they described as childlike?
I prefer the Dwarfs over the Lalas because of that. They just seems way more mature and interesting.
That looks so messed up I can barely believe its real, anyways, please bring Ren Ran by my home later, ignore the massive amounts of garlic, onion and olive oil on the table and make yourself comfortable on the lala chair.

There just short people same as a short person irl but with some ears that are kinda elvish. I just figured there a split off of hyur with dwarfism

The only one that can visit your home is my bun boy. I say boy cause it's hard to make a bun man. Did what I could though.

Yes. Even the ffxiv official website says so. https://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/a_rea...aces/lalafell/

I've been waiting for the Big Reveal™ that all the non-Hyur races were created by the Allagans as either experiments or for specific purposes.
For example, Roegadyn were created to be soldiers and laborers. Hence, your large size and strength.
Lalafell were created to be amphibious. Our tubbiness being a result of the fat needed to survive in the water like all aquatic mammals.
Elezen and Miqo'te were designs for races good at hunting and ranged combat for different climates.
Etc...
Of course, I could be totally wrong about the intents; but, I feel that I am on the right track regarding the origin of many of the player races and beast tribes.
If you consider a lalafell's height and weight, and consider what they can do physically in the game, lalafell are pound for pound one of the strongest races in Euroza. I think that's pretty cool.
As for why they appear to be childlike, I notch it up to lalafell being the chibi race with the other races filling other character designs found in popular manga and anime.
Both races are great! They each have their quirks and lore which makes them interesting. I would love to roleplay a dwarf from the First in Eorzea after it's established in game that characters can now travel between the worlds.
Okay, now I'm curious. What did you pull off with the options available for Viera? Picture please!
