Do people see lalafells as children?

No, Lalafell are not children. But they are also not adult. At least not in the traditional sense.

They simply are not humans and viewing them as such and try to label them as adult or child simply does not work.

They are a child-like elven race. Youthful appearance, playful personality, wisdom and intelligence of countless years.

Lalafell are both. Or neither.


But it's really not that difficult, people interact with Lalafell-players every day in this game. They pet them, think they are adorable (or creepy), they see them as children, and then talk to them like they talk to an adult - because there sits an adult behind the ingame model of that child-like elf. And that's basically what a Lalafell is: A playful adult which never really growed up.
