Notice how stilted OP's lyrics seem, yet they convey the same meaning as the ones you posted? I found this curious, so I looked at yours and OP's sources and simply put the Japanese lyrics into a machine translator. TL;DR OP's lyrics are just a really literal translation of the japanese lyrics, while yours are the cleaned up version. If you actually read them though, the meaning is basically the same.

So bizarre how much hate an in depth character analysis is getting, while threads about coffee and lalafell chairs are met with applause. But it is the official forums, I suppose.

There's a fairly interesting official post on the Japanese blog that add a lot of needed context into the song. First, it provides a Japanese translation of (E), the English portion of the lyrics. However, this translation actually reveals quite a bit of insight into what the original lyrics intended to convey. I add the blog post's translation to the lyrics in "", and in "()" I add my direct translation (without fluff, faithful to the original meaning):

I don't come to the forums often but it seems like everyone is having a kneejerk reaction based on who the OP is? I feel like there's some context to why everyone is so hostile that I'm not getting.

Dunno how you went to the conclusion that it's just a videogame when Stormblood is very unsubtle about their intention of tackling those issues.

We spend 70% of the expac exploring life of people under colonialism, how they are oppressed and their culture assimilated or erased and four of its main characters are inherently linked to that topic. (Yotsuyu, Fordola, Hien and Lyse).

I don't see how you can deny it, just read how they describe the song in this blog post and think about how the lyrics are from the perspective of her western Garlean oppressors.

Honestly stormblood story I loved however it made me want to sign up for the empire to punish the stupid savages of doman,Al migok, and honestly every where. Both girls were forced into being villians then frowned upon for doing the most logical actions that the people were to stupid to realize they are nothing but Savages

In heavensward I wanted to signup with niddhogg after learning things.. I just I can't even see why people say we are "heros and warriors of light" WE LEGIT are protecting abusers, traitors, murders, butchers and honestly brute savages thats not heroic

Has anyone here played Tenchu 3? Her story is the exact same as a character in that game named Tatsumaru. It's like a gender swapped version of it. I'm not saying it's derivative, but I remember thinking of Tenchu 3 when I did the story all those years ago.

I think if you look up "Titanmen" in the forum search, you'll know well why that name is haunted. It's really not about the topic being too taboo or something lol, rather it's annoying and borderline offensive to see concern trolls adopt such real, serious issues to bludgeon and bait people with.
