Can we have FFXIV & FFXI sub shared

They justify it, because plenty of people pay it. Until it doesn't pay the power bill, then it will remain as is.

And to piggyback off of that, if it weren't making enough money to support itself as a bare minimum, they'd sooner drop the whole thing than make it free-to-play or bundle it as part of the XIV subscription service (which would still be essentially making FFXI free through XIV - it wouldn't be earning any money of its own).

A discount for linking subscriptions would be more likely.

Make it $20 and I'll gladly up the money I spend. That way when not in FFXIV I can return to the simpler (yet hellish) days of FFXI. Call me if you need a BLU or DRK...just know I have WHM as the sub for DRK because I DESPISE UNDEAD. I can't drain from them. T_T

TBH FFXIV is the simpler one in terms of gameplay. FFXI is just not as visually pretty due to being a PS2 era title while having the classic old school menu system.

I meant simpler days because a lot of us were still in school in its heyday.
