Oh my god..this is TERRIBLE..people are socialising in an MMO ( scandalous....SCANDALOUS I SAY.......) and doing content that ISNT 'raiding"...

Forgive my cynicism at this point and I'm sure millions of excuses are going to be presented here but this is the reality of the game lately.

No one needs "excuses', DEFINITELY , no one needs EVER justify themselves to you, to quote the Mother of Many when Cadet Jarman questioned her methods:

"Tell thy sister to go chase her fish and I will chase mine"

Between this and the other person who took a screenshot of queue time in the death hours of morning as proof the game is dying ... Idk, I feel the game is not really dying, but there is a certain segment seem to desperately want to see it die just so they can feel vindicate? I would think if the game is obviously dying as much or as fast as these people believe, they wouldn't have to desperate searching and making up out-of-context stuffs as their proof.

It isnt that, Raven, its that they are making their OWN fun and doing what THEY want when they feel like it, which somehow, doesnt meet OP's lofty "standards" of what they consider to be "worthwhile".

THIS ISNT WOW. FF 14 is not, never has been, Twelve grant never will be raid focussed or tied to that one specific activity. I have said this over and over again, endgame is whatever the hell you want it to be.

Personally?

All OP has done is to highlight one of the BIGGEST BENEFITS FF 14 has to offer, which is a common platform for people of many nations to get together and socialise, to get to know each other, to make new friends and new game partners, to break down barriers between cultures and peoples, to foster a happy. cooperative community.

How ANYONE can see this as anything other than a positive literally beggars belief.
