The current state of the "MMORPG" FFXIV is unsustainable. Here's why

When you queue for a trial that requires all people who've gotten to the current end of the MSQ, late in the week when most people aren't running roulettes much because they've already capped tomes, then of course it's gonna take longer. Especially in the middle of the afternoon on a weekend, when people are likely to be out of the house running errands and doing other things.

And I've had it pop twice in roulette just this week, so it's not impossible. It's just unlikely.

I haven't even gotten out of bed yet... It's still early morning west coast. And the story mode only requires a single completion. I haven't gotten it in trial roulette since the first week, since most have already done the story.

2pm server time translate to the very early morning for most of the US. Most of the queue are death a couple hours before the daily reset time. Even Frontline which usually take less than a couple min to pop would take 30+ min to queue before 2-3PM server time. Either you're just honestly not knowing, or you're not presenting evidence in good faith

Like ... most people don't wake up early in the weekend, and probably less want to play as soon as they wash their face yo. I know I would barely just wake up at that hour on a weekend, and on a weekday I would already be on my way to work. And I'm the typical 8h/day white collar.

Almost all content is dead at 8:30 am on the weekends.....


Plus, EX is the repeatable content you are looking for. Go farm your 50 clears.

Seem the main complain is "the game is worse than it ever was" for whatever reason, so if the reason it gets to this point is because of people complaining ... What so many of you deny is, the game has received changes via playerbase complaints, and its where it got us now and a number of you are happy, some of us feel these changes have gutted out what the rest of us enjoy and place feedback, a lot of you guys just dont like it thats it.

So we can agree complaining does in fact get heard and changes are made to the game, just people do know this just don't want more people knowing about it.

Complaining also got us HW raids, which gutted the raid community and basically killed the raid scene for almost 2 full years.

No, you're not going to insert the condition "and good" to narrow or minimize anything i list. So as I said "Old Skool" being: DnD online, Lotr: Online, obviously WoW, Terra, Runescape. To name a few.

It's not in the middle of afternoon. ST = GMT. That's like early morning for most people living in the US. People can't play when they're sleeping.

Basically anything with a grind that meant you had to do something for long periods of time to get somewhere. FFXI is also one of those MMO's in this category with a punishing leveling system where if you died you lost XP, in Wow you had to walk back to your body
