They shoved the cards from Heaven-on-High onto a TT NPC eventually, so it's possible they'll do the same for Eureka Orthos as well.

So the answer is to spend hours farming Aetherpool gear, then be sure to read a guide from an external source, then fight RNG to get the accursed hoard, THEN fight RNG AGAIN to hope you obtain it from the silver sack. . .If you make sure your aetherpool armor and weapon are high enough, as well as read up on some of the abilities used by the floor 31-40 mobs, you shouldn't really have too much of an issue soloing it. Maygi has made an informative guide on pretty much everything Eureka Orthos, noting any important abilities that you'll have to look out for.
Alternatively, going in with just one other player should make it easy/safer to farm silver sacks for the card.
The Gancanagh card is unlikely to have a <1% drop rate. Had it drop from one of the first silver sacks I obtained, along with a few others that I ran with when trying to go for a floor 100 clear.
to obtain a TT card that should be from an NPC (you know, actual triple triad play) or should logically drop from the floor 10 boss (which it represents).
I know CBU3 has a hard time understanding this concept, but RNG on top of RNG isn't fun. It's frustrating. If they wanted to put it in Eureka Orthos, fine, that's their decision. But it should have been a reward from the floor 10 boss or from the Aetherpool fragments so any player can realistically solo it.

Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

They should have both methods so players of both types have a way to get it.
Some of the TT cards in this game are bizzare to me. Most are easy or just require doing some type of content. Then you have MM EX which took me almost 100 runs and lots of looking for decent parties before I finally got it. I enjoy the fact TT collecting makes you do a bunch of content, but some of the drops are absurd.
This is probably what they're going to do. It's locked behind Orthos for those who want it now, and will most likely be more easily available in the future for those who are alright with waiting until then.

To be fair, Beatrice card drops from Scarmiglione. This isn't something new.
As someone that does collect every card, I am NOT looking forward to obtaining this card. However, I think if I actually do focus on getting the mount from clearing it multiple times, the card will come naturally.
I've always seen TT cards from non-NPCs as something that is less painful to do when you aren't actually trying to get the card. For example, I didn't try to get the Emerald Weapon card from Emerald Normal. I tried for the mount and got the card while helping other people in the party get their mount.
Gan? I have two, gonna sell them. Lol

Yes, the answer to obtaining this card is playing the game.So the answer is to spend hours farming Aetherpool gear, then be sure to read a guide from an external source, then fight RNG to get the accursed hoard, THEN fight RNG AGAIN to hope you obtain it from the silver sack. . .

When it comes to hours of farming, how is this any different from one of the following:
- Dungeons that can randomly give you the TT card at the end
- Reaching FATE rank 3 in a zone + 200-300 bicolored gemstones
- Completion of BLU quests
- Completion of three EX trials (Ruby, Emerald, Diamond)
- Random drop from an EX trial (Memoria Misera)
- Every Anemos/Pagos/Pyros/Hydatos card on their initial release
- Requiring a multiple weeks of turn ins/dailies (Moogle tribe to unlock a TT NPC, rank 5 Anden to unlock the card on the bicolor gemstone vendor)
Is it because players have to do a set of mildly challenging floors, for a card that's unlikely to have a low drop rate? The guide is not a requirement for floor 31-40, I threw it in there as advice towards CNitsah because it'd be one way to make their experience a bit smoother. Mainly because the patrolling mob, along with Twisting Dive being things that can somewhat surprise people initially, but are relatively easy to avoid when you know about them.
Alternatively, if this is too big of a deal for someone, just wait for them to add it to an NPC. That's what they generally do after a while.

It cannot be just tagged. that's the big difference. You can just tag for the thing and run it, and stop when you have enough of it. Here you have to be ready to invest yourself for a several hours runs with people. If you can do it with people you know, you can do it in several session. If you have to use pf, here becomes the annoyance. If we could just tag for thoses floors, it would be fine to me. The difference is the accessibility of the content. But no, you have to make premade, and if not lucky, one of the guy leaves you after floor 30 because you're too slow. You can't ask random people to come back next week because you want to stop for now. The farm itself was never the problem. When it comes to hours of farming, how is this any different from one of the following:

To me, this is closer to getting some of the worst field notes in bozja, with the difference that in bozja, everyone plays the same way. If you feel the need to leave, because you don't like your party, are tired, or whatever the reason, you don't penalize everyone.

Not all is supposed to be easy to get... some of the other TT cards is barred behind Eureka Storyline Progress as well meaning you need to do Eureka/pagos... etc.. to be able to obtain and win them... if you want it, do the effort for it, else you will complain about that there is not enough content to do sooner or later.I'm annoyed by this one, why do you keep doing that kind of thing, putting the cards behind high difficulty content?
You already did that kind of thing putting a few cards behind extremes. Not a fan, but why not, with a team that knows what it does, it's ok. Plus with time they can be unsynced.
Then there was the Masked Carnival ones. God I have ptsd about those (I'm part of the people that HATE the masked carnival).
Also the content is not difficult, you just gotta learn the mechanics which is super simple compared to alot of savage/ex. Trial/Ultimates if you are refering to the floorbosses.
For the floor mobs, you just gotta learn how to tackle them, most effects hurts very hard or instant kill... go in then out or other way around or behind...
EDIT:
Also you can do this solo as well, that is how the system is built and wont take much longer time other than having to learn the shortcuts, and also for TT farming... you can do a quick to 50 only and repeat that.
If you want it to be mean, they could had barred it behind floor 99.
