No it just means you aren't touching those specific things. You can finish IS in a casual 2 days? HoH 1 day, Variant 1 day. Crafting and Gathering can also be done in about 1-2 days each. You can solo all of Variant in a few hours. lol

I guess if you only have like 3 hours a week, then you'd get most of those done in 2-3 weeks though. Not to mention IS is time gated, so it's perfect for you.

Also no, this is mostly in response to people constantly telling other people to go run POTD, HOH, Eureka, Bozja if they want content. When all of that is on average 5 years old.

The new gatherer tools take around 1.5 hours each (Except fishing, because i refuse to touch that).

That's.. an afternoon of content.. which was done basically afk watching YouTube.

There was no concentration required, it was just click 3 trees in a circle for an hour.

personally i find POTD mind numbingly boring for the first 10 hours until the later floors, and that is my reason for not doing it.

Everyone here kept telling me to go play world of warcraft if i want content, So that is exactly what i am doing, leveling my first character on there and so far, its not even that bad. the GCD is a little fast, but that makes combat a bit more faced paced, AOE indicators are terrible though, would be nice if they had more clear indicators.

Mob density is amazing so far, having more than 5 enemies in a grouping feels as if the class i am playing (warlock affliction) can actually use it's full kit, and all the damage numbers actually feels good.

Oh man, and I was even talking about 1-90 a whole ass Craft or Gather. Can literally be done in a day.

Also yeah, WoW has been pretty fun so far, actually gave it a try after all the XIV people kept saying it was shit all these years. It's extremely engaging in comparison.. I just hate the vague AoE swirlies, they're actual dogshit. You find a mod that fixes that.. Let me know. Also you can actually coop content in WoW, instead of playing make-believe that you're playing MSQ together.. :P

It's frustrating that XIV is struggling to keep up, and instead has now decided it doesn't even want to be in the race for that type of engaging casual combat content. But it honestly gave that up after Heavensward. lol

I think a lot of XIV's frustrations could be resolved by fixing the tick rate especially.
