Yeah! I just want a variety. I hate staring at the same gear for too long. I have this Hempen Acton on my new character and it's seriously the best gear I've found for DoM, right up to level 18! I'm in Sposhae hunting a Bliaud because although I don't need it... I MUST HAVE NEW CLOTHES.

My hope is for a system to be introduced where owning a piece of gear basically unlocks those stats and you can apply them to another piece of gear of the same type. There are some incredibly beautiful pieces of gear in this game that are never worn due to having inferior stats. A system like this would create so much more variety in what people would wear and therefore give the player a greater feeling of immersion as they are dressing their character in the way they think looks best and not simply for the numbers.

Powerleveling? Who needs powerleveling? Leveled Pugilist from 15-50 and unlocked all MNK content in a week. Legit. None of that PL garbage.

Although they're inferior, and people look down on me... I wear them anyway!

I was about to make a similar post. I have recently started leveling some DoL and DoH classes and noticed many recipes still haven't been converted to the standards. More options open up around level 35 it seems, but prior to that, its pretty dismal.

Some items are non-existent except for Dated versions (such as the Turban). The selection needs to be improved. I understand the developers are working hard, but I hope its on their list of things to do at least part of the 2.0 release.

Recipes are being fixed and added in the next patch.

You need to reread the last producers letter.

I just started playing again... I haven't read that letter yet... It's good to hear.

    1. In a group lvling is fast, not everyone successfully finds low lvl groups.

    2. Not everyone has nearly as much time on their hands as you apparently do.

    3. Even if they did have the time, not everyone wants to spend all of it on FFXIV. Believe it or not, some ppl have friends, family, other shit they like to do.

All in all this is why ppl need PLVLing. If #1 wasn't a problem there would be no need for it, but since low lvl grouping is just about impossible there's nothing else you can do except wasting every waking hour on FFXIV. No thanks. And the whole "legit" vs "not legit" thing is rather funny considering lvling isn't exactly hard, just time-consuming. If it was actually challenging I could see the point in the distinction, but as of now its utterly pointless since it boils down to the fact that you just elected to waste more time than someone else.

OT: Recipes are in the development stages right now. Why do ppl insist on crying wolf when a game is in the middle of a reconstruction? They are not taking away your options, they are slowly revising all of the options. As a result, there will be gaps like this where there just isn't much. Bear with it.
