Bro literally just do a new moogle tomestone event every month. Cycle the content for it so it doesn't get stale, shuffle the rewards around, and call it a day. This isn't hard. This is one of the few events they have that encourages people to actually play the game, but they only do it like ... what, twice a year? Meanwhile the game's in sleeper mode 4 months at a time. You're charging people monthly, right? Not every 4 months, right? So just do a moogle event or some kind of "hey come do content for rewards" style event and give people something to do. Or, don't! And watch people quit in droves and then their friends quit because they quit, and their friends quit because they quit, and on and on. Legit no need to reinvent the wheel. Hell, what if they just... uncapped causality tomes and let people actually farm for their alt jobs in a meaningful way? "Oh we don't want to encourage unhealthy grinding" says the dev who had people poopsocking at placards for 16 hours, yeah okay. Imagine if they just took the lazy way out like so many kMMO devs and just did a double drop event or something. Always wanted a glam but never could find it? Now it drops double the glams! Double the tomes! Go get out there and run some content!

Oh, wait. No. Our "events" are an 11 minute story about a guy who... uhm... wants to celebrate a holiday! With an event! And he needs YOU ... to, uhm... talk to NPCs! And convince them to come! There's an emote! And a housing item! You'll like it.

Yeah. Sure, I mean why not. Instead of devs spending time and resources thinking into how they can restrict and cap our loot they should instead just double down on giving us an innumerable amount of things to do. People will organize and do them by themselves and at their pace so I don't see the point in trying to curate and trickle the content for us.
