Why do the level 90 beast tribe only require level 80 crafters.

Trained Eye works on any recipes that are at least 10 levels below yours, with the only exception being Expert recipes.

Oh, I know that. I just meant that, as a level 80 crafter, I still wasn't able to use Trained Eye for the Dwarves dailies. As opposed to the Loporrits, where I'm able to use it despite being current content. Sorry for not being clearer.

Your memory would be failing you, since all the Dwarf recipes are level 70 meaning they're Trained eye compatible with an 80 crafter.
Just like the Lopritt's recipes being 80 so they're compatible with 90 w/trained eye.

As for the topic, they've always been leveling content for catch up crafters / people coming into the expansion that haven't been around since the beginning. Moogles, Namazu, Dwarves have all been this exact same way, expecting anything different from Loporitts is a big ???

Because they're intended to be a supplementary leveling system for players who haven't reached level 90 yet on all their crafting classes.

If they were 89 or under, you wouldn't be able to use it. Read the tooltip.

in either case.., it's not like you have many turn ins that benefit from HQ..,
so atm it doesn't have any benefit to worry about Trained Eye.., unless that changes In the future.

I was just misremembering and thought I couldn't use it for the Dwarves daily quests when I was level 80. Read the thread.

Where the hell have these people been and what have they been doing for the last year?

Do they play the game?

Why are they getting handouts if they don't put effort into leveling?

I got one crafter to 90 so I can meld materia. Left the other ones at 80 because I only use them for repairing gear. Waited until now to level them because it's free and easy with tribal quests.
