Its not an ad-hominem attack if its true. With my post being a direct response to somebody who literally mentioned losing their housing if they take a break.

I'm not "fighting", first of all. Don't be so aggressive. I'm literally not in the mood to fight anyone, and I really don't think fighting the FF14 community is productive at all.

I'm just saying that it's not so clear-cut, a lot of people actually do hold some value to what they achieve in a videogame. It's just that the game should respect that in turn, and this limitation isn't doing that.

If you finish Pokémon and call it at that, cool for you. You're not wrong in doing so. Several people, myself included, spend a lot more time afterward completing the pokédex, getting shinies, clearing the rest of the game. And I'm not wrong in doing so either. Same as owning a house in this game.
