Question for the people who don't dislike the 2nd relic step

You know doing all the daily roulettes save for Mentor, Guildhests, and Frontlines can only get you around 800-900 Astronomy, right? He's having to play the game quite a bit to get one weapon done. Something you're likely aware of...but you're not arguing in good faith, now are you?

I mess around an hour or 2 after spending all of said tomes and start seeing that message again saying I failed to obtain tomestones because i've hit cap.

I play multiple games not really focusing on this one during content lulls. I've had friends in this game and other games say they cannot wrap their heads around how I get so much done in the games I play in a short amount of time after finding out I'd gotten a considerable amount ahead of them despite logging less hours or having long periods of being AFK in the game. I just tell them when I sit down to do something I get it done, and if I see ways to kill 2,3,4,5,6... 50,000 birds with 1 stone I'll do it. The rest IMO is just having a natural eye for detail and decades of experience looking for such opportunities in game and life. I'm not "speed running" my games or any of that nonsense where you don't actually experience the game because you're focused entirely on a timer. I've simply learned to cut out wasted motions, wasted effort, and wasted time where you accomplish nothing while playing the game.

Despite my limited time I don't care to have the game essentially progressing a relic weapon with 0 effort. The "grinds" for the previous weapons at least gave me something to do when I sit down to play this game. I'd have done the Hildibrand questline regardless if they hadn't linked the relic to them simply because I enjoy those questlines.
