Question for the people who don't dislike the 2nd relic step

Because for anybody who wasn't in 1.0, the first grind was GETTING the relic weapon's base form, which has stayed the same for every expansion. So the 2nd step is always upgrading the relic the first time.

Except the entire concept of the "Saga of the Zodiac Weapons" didn't even exist in 2.0. Applying the Thavnairian Mists didn't even change the name of the relic, it simply added a +1. For example, Gae Bolg +1.

I don't even consider the Antiquated the first step for Eurekan Weapons simply because you got them from the job quest, that's not really a grind or anything. So I consider the first form you get from Anemos to be the first step. The second step is upgrading them to their Anemos form.

The upgrade from Antiquated to Anemos is the entire first step. I can't tell if you're serious if you're actually breaking up the Anemos Weapons into each of the steps, especially considering it goes from Antiquated -> Base (100 Protean Crystals) -> Base +1 (400 Protean Crystals) -> Base +2 (800 Protean Crystals) -> Anemos (3x Pazuzu Feather).
If ignoring the Antiquated step, the Pagos step would be the second one.
