2mins can in fact be a luxury. (Also lol, 2 mins. Depending on your computer setup it'd take 2+mins just to get in-game, let alone the time it'd take to scout ward by ward, scoping out plot locations that you'd want to bid on, etc) there's even weeks of my own work where I have to pull the equivalency of 3 people's jobs of work that finding the energy to spend even 1 second gaming and not going to bed the moment I get home is a luxury.
Japan notoriously has very draconian work cultures that make it hard for people to find time to do gaming at all.

Yoshi-P chose 9 days because he understands that a sizeable amount of people aren't terminally online, that plenty have extremely busy & hectic schedules.
As if he cares lmao

It's just an artificial way of making housing less of an issue by creating some fake availability while we both know that if the rounds happened more often, all houses would be gone in a single round or two, showing the flaws in the housing system and the extreme scarcity.

Also if they have to cater to every single person with IRL work schedules and other things, then we might as well make it an entire month, just in case someone is in hospital maybe ? Why would they have to miss the lottery ? Doesnt seem very fair to me.
