I quoted you in my previous post, because you mentioned your forum join date differed from your game one, and I was just curious about the dates; but my post wasn't meant to throw shade at you or demerit what you were saying.

I find that not a lot of people know about the Lodestone's functionalities as a whole, and I felt it was a good opportunity to bring it up. Apologies if you felt my comment was too targeted towards you, it was just an example for anyone else who was curious about the topic itself.
Fair enough. Should re-read your post then since it definitely came off differently to me than just educating people since I'm not sure why my specific time difference mattered in the first place to use in your post (since nyself and the others involved were discussing the OPs time) or why the comment of needing to hide info was directed at me at all (since I never said i wanted or needed to in the first place). If you had removed all that and just had the general instructions for everyone (without specifying me) for how to hide the info then I wouldn't be taking it as something negative. That's all.

Anyway, appreciate your input and enjoy the rest of your day.

FF14 has a history of silliness going all the way back to ARR, so I’m not really sure what you are on about here. I personally love the perfect blend of silly and serious and certainly don’t see any content draught.
In EW we’ve got an entirely new design of dungeons, an island to chill on, Crystaline Conflict to grind while it’s still fun and relevant, amazing story, non-grindy relics, Ultimates for hardcore PvE enjoyers, plenty of new housing items, fair housing lottery system without the need to out-click RMT bots and much much more.

For me the game is much more balanced and perfected the unique symbiosis of hard Savage fights for those who enjoy grind and challenge, and casual content.
After 10 years in WoW which had only grind, this is extremely refreshing and good MMO design.

Plus claiming that SE is running the game to the ground certainly doesn’t add up to reality, as the player base keeps growing. They haven’t opened two entirely new DCs just because they had nothing to do. They were needed as the game is becoming more and more popular.

I get that this is just low hanging fruit, but you really didn't have to go this out of your way to express how you feel about a beast tribe, i mean you could, and you did, but it just says that you typed more then what was required.

Look on the brightside, OP. At least the Loporrits aren't twerking. I would just avoid the Loporrits as much as possible if I were you, because they are supposed to be the epitome of sugary cuteness in this game.

EDIT: Although the Adventurous Ambystoma is much cuter, in my opinion.

Nope. There are plenty Japanese anime/manga series I don't go out of my way to watch/read that have humorous themes.

The humor behind the concept of Jibaku Shōnen Hanako-kun (地縛少年花子くん) [Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun] was enough to steer me away from it, as an example.

The humor behind the concept of Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute! (陰の実力者になりたくて!) [The Eminence in Shadow] appealed to me. I started watching it as soon as I found out about the anime and have the translated manga volumes as well.

Majikku Kaito 1412 (まじっく快斗1412) [Magic Kaito 1412] sort of humor is easier to watch, understand and enjoy. Even for those of us in the West.

Hildibrand may appear to be 'cringe' to many North American or European tastes, but so is South Park.

Loporrits in the game are an echo of the Hummingways of Final Fantasy IV. Why are there rabbits on the moon? Because the Moon rabbit is part of the east asian mythic tradition. And we are on the moon.

The bunnies are not those of Watership Down, so why do you expect anything more of them than you do of Moogles [aka Light Entertainment]?

Different people enjoy different things, but dismissing something without understanding is a problem to be corrected.

Indeed. I thought we were on the game as a whole but if we talk about the moon bunnies than i'm 100% on your side. Little goofy bunnies would actually feel displaced in darker stories. Just imagine a MSQ cutscene where a bunny called "Passedaway" tells you about the death of Thancred. Yikes.

Will put you on ignore if you can't form a logical argument but argue nonetheless

I compare it to garrys mod videos, and they are just as cringe as hildibrand is. And just like gmod, this cringe isnt desired by all players. And yet, people can still make somewhat normal videos with it. SFM however killed most of this stuff as instead of the bad faces and cringe, quality smoothness became possible (while still allowing the cringe faces to show up).

South park became cringe over time. As originaly it was just a relentless and rude method of showing jokes and making some political statement through some episodes. It became cringe since this rudeness became unacceptable, so they tried to compensate it in other ways (that just dont work, and became cringe).

Whatever other arguments you gave for their existance. I think this alone should already be a main reason to accept them in ffxiv. Its a perfect reference to an older game, just like many of the primals.

Nope. The moogles appeared 3 times in the MSQ (4 times if you count Gridania intro/quests), in the Ivalice raids and in the Dark Knight questline, so a lot more than the moon bunnies have been. It just didn't "bother" people because they were spread out. And moogles have been the staple mascot for Final Fantasy since the beginning if you wanna count outside game influences. They even have an extra sidequest with the postmail moogle to get a rare glamour item. So yes, the moogles have appeared more than the moon bunnies.

So war is kid friendly? Using a chemical weapon for genocide and militant purposes is kid friendly? Pandemonium is there yes, but the real issue is that the proportions are off, within EW recently for every 1 instance of supposed danger there are 15 more strolls in candyland.
