Another patch -- another comment I feel like I should add to the thread to voice my displeasure with the options for Male Viera.

Whoever is designing and/or porting the hair for Viera, please stop giving us Code Lyoko foreheads. I'm begging you.

I know I'm a broken record but it's not just a Viera problem, it's a problem with the hairline of the hairstyle itself. It looks equally tic-tac-toe-headed on Miqote, Lalafell, Au'ra, etc. Everybody is having this complaint, not just Viera. In fact, it looks just as bad on even female Roes when I think this type of haircut should suit them very well because it's a "butch" style and short haircuts tend to suit them. It's poorly fitted on everyone except Hrothgar and maybe male Highlanders (arguably, I still think it looks bad on Highlanders.) I would like them to edit this hair on everybody, pull the hairline down and be more conscious in the future about the different face styles in their game and how particular hairlines will fit. I just don't want to pursue the narrative that this is a Viera only problem because every single race deserves more attention when it comes to fitting hairstyles properly.

You and me both, Im so sad for how stiff they made them…the floppy ears flop a tiiiny bit when you run but thats it…

The ears of Viera are so big, it is very jarring when they act like inanimate objects glued on top of their head. Hrothgar ears are so small, you can kind of be okay with their rigidness, but for Viera is just a bad look.
With the new emote I was kind of hoping that they wouldn't have plastered the Loporit ears on top of any race, just make them do the emote without them. And make the ears of races with animal ears move. How it is shown in the art piece from the other page, that would have looked great!

And in regards to your other post, I am glad I was not the only one who noticed that the bottom image looked very pretty in a weird way, can't really put my finger on why. XD

I agree with not plastering the ears such a stupid decision, plus yes in the official art it was shown that we move our OWN ears! Why do the painters do such a good job and then pretty much anyone else at SE decide to ignore or decide nah not worth the extra work, I swear its like they give zero damns about our races, Im starting to get horribly impatient about everything lately.
Do Hrothgar have any kind of ear animation? I know that cat boys can wiggle them a bit.

Nope, they are more static than Viera, by that I mean that they don't move at all.

I would love some small ear animations for Hrothgar, like rotating your ear when doing scouting animations, or flopping them when embarrassed. But I am resigned to that never happening unless you are a Miquo'te.

Edited to add: We might see some better treatment once they finish with ff16 and the devs that have been moved there are returned to 14.
